The Thau Lagoon is an extremely sensitive ecological area that has been subjected to numerous restrictions imposed by state authorities in recent years. Today, the canal boat is one of the few vessels permitted to enter the oyster farm.
By embarking on this tour, you will spend an unforgettable moment and discover the different farming techniques of our oysters, visiting the breeding parks along the way, followed by a stop in a farmhouse of the Tarbouriech family between 11:45 a.m. and 1:15/30 p.m. for tasting, at St Pierre in Loupian or at St Barth Marseillan.
Departures are available every day by reservation only on the website or with Captain Alain (0685906201). Discounted rates are available, depending on whether the boat carries 2, 5 or 7 passengers.(120€/person for 2 and/or 3 passengers (private boat), 59€/person for 4 to 7 passengers or 49€/person for 8 to 9 passengers) Group together before booking to get the best price.
The price includes the tour, the visit and the tasting stop. Max 9 passengers
Departure from Sète at 11:30 a.m. and return to Sète at 2:30 p.m.
The tasting plate is freely composed and must be paid for directly at the restaurant on the same day.
